Yeah I remember that.... If posible get a can of air and plow out your Graphics card port and also the connection point for your monitor. This sometimes fixes the problem due to over time small amounts of dust gets into the connections, causing the signal to degrade or stop all together. Hope thats the problem good luck =)

Yup, it did the trick for my problem, wich was the same... it worked fine, until the rest of the computer said "g'bye" but the monitor still works ^^
