After a brief discussion with Fabien I decided to bring this up.

The proposal is about having a "Trial period" for any and all new members. The rules of the trial would look something like this:

1. All new members gets the title "Prospect"

2. The trial period is 2 months starting the day they enter Blood

3. During the trial the prospect can be disbanded by any council member or regent, if breaking any of the Blood rules. There will most likely be No Warning or Second chance.

4. The prospect enjoys the same rights as a full Blood member (exception being to vouch for other to get full blood membership)

5. The prospect will still be allowed to place a house within our cities after 2 weeks, or earlier if the Mayor agrees to it.

6. After 2 months, the prospect becomes a full Blood member and gets the title "Private". At this point he/she can not any longer be so easily disbanded. A council-meeting must take place in order to do so, where the majority must agree.

7. The trial period can be avoided, if a current Blood member is vouching for a recruit. The recruit can then instantly become full member. Current Blood members must treat this privilege with responsibility

Any thoughts about this? Good idea, bad idea? Any additions, things that should be changed?

I agree to this, I also suggest we create some kind of database for it, and keep really close track on it... for instance a private thread for regent/council with:

Date - Name - Misc info - Recruiter

So, if I got recruited by Fabien it would say something like:
08-12-22 - Cen'tosh - Dave, 25, Swedish, Irl friend of Kertarsh - Fabien

And 2 months later if I get full membership:
09-02-22 - Cen'tosh - Dave, 25, Swedish, Irl friend of Kertarsh - Fabien

Or if it's decided I cannot be a full member and have to leave:
09-02-22 - Cen'tosh - Dave, 25, Swedish, Irl friend of Kertarsh - Fabien - (Did not follow the guild rules and tried to free Baworr)

This, mainly to keep track so it doesn't rely purely on our "heads" ...I know I don't trust my own memory... lol
